...do people still check this thing? Now that midterms are here I've finally found an excuse to procrastinate for a little bit, ie. revive this blog! Life back in Loo is so far so good, 3rd year biz is definitely busier than I thought, but whatever doesn't kill you will only make you stronger, right?? In any case, life is good : )
Speaking of life, what have you accomplished? (and I don't say that in an accusatory tone). Here's a site where you can put in a number to see what others have done at that age: http://www.museumofconceptualart.com/accomplished/?nl=1
For example, at age...
0 - By eight weeks of age, Christian Friedrich Heinecken was speaking intelligible German.
5 - Mozart began composing minuets. Once when a second violinist failed to appear for a string quartet performance, Mozart took his place, even though he'd never seen the music.
8 - Wilma Rudolph was unable to walk. She went on to become a three-time Olympic gold medal-winning runner.
15 - Anne Frank wrote the final entry in her diary.
20 - Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard and co-founded Microsoft.
...skip a few years...
99 - Teiichi Igarashi climbed Mt. Fuji.
969 - Methesulah died.
Pretty amazing huh? A lot of people have lists of things to do before they die, but to put an Ecclestiastical hat on, do any of these things matter in the long-run? Although it would be neat to say I've cried from laughing so hard, seen all the continents, and found the cure for cancer (all done in a week). What do YOU want to check off your life's to-do list?
